Happy Doug Day!
|I met him almost immediately after
this photo was taken. I fell. Wouldn’t you?
I’d like to pause in my endless recitation of exercises and poundage, and wish everyone a Happy Doug Day. My husband was born on this day many many many years ago. It was and is a joyous event.
I can think of no better way to celebrate Doug Day than to visit his spanking new website—www.douglaswood.net. It is a great site (I am insanely jealous of it) and you can see what projects he is currently obsessing over. There are many. You can also find out about the true meaning of Doug Day in his journal pages. It’s worth reading.
Now, to wrap the Doug Day presents, decorate the Douglas fir tree, and prepare the feast of Who-beast. There’s a lot to do.

How I love you, both. Happiest of Doug Days to you all!
Love that photo of Doug sleeping, Ben wide awake. Doug is so asleep that his eyelids have actually sealed shut. Happy Birthday, Doug! How many many years exactly has it been? . . . I'll take my answer off the air.
Happy HAPPY Doug Day! Many more to come!!!!
Thanks for the shout out, Jimmie. My website (DouglasWood.net) appreciates it.
I wouldn't have made it these many many many years without you.
Points off, though for the 'Many many many years ago' dig. 48 is the new 19, bitch.
Well, I'm 2 weeks late, but that doesn't mean I don't love you Doug! Happy, happy one more year! And hey, who took that B&W photo? I think I hear the 80's calling…
Hi James! Love your blog. I'm Doug's former co-worker at MI Alicia – I played on your mom's CD that Doug produced. I've been blogging since 2004, so it's great to see Doug out there in the blogosphere – and your fine blog as well! Best to you from – Alicia
